Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know Before Your Visit

We’ve put together this handy FAQ so you can find quick answers about our services, booking process, and what happens during your session all in one place.

Do I need an appointment?

All sessions are by appointment only to ensure full attention and quality care. To book a time, please submit an appointment request, call, or send a text message.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee, as it is difficult to rebook the slot on short notice.

How long does a session last?

Sessions typically run between 60 and 75 minutes. The first appointment usually includes a brief consultation to tailor the treatment to your needs, focusing on quality and personalised care.

What is your policy on late arrivals?

Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to maintain the schedule for other clients. The full session fee will still apply.

What to expect

Do I need to undress completely?

Clients only undress to their comfort level. Professional draping is used at all times to maintain privacy, exposing only the area being treated.

Is the massage painful?

Some techniques, such as trigger point therapy, can cause discomfort and referral pain as tight muscles release. The therapist will check in regularly to adjust pressure to a tolerable level while aiming for the best therapeutic effect.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes that are easy to remove if necessary. For clothed treatments, stretchy fabrics are recommended.

Payment & insurance

Do you accept health insurance?

Most major health funds are accepted. We can provide a tailored receipt to facilitate the rebate process.

Do you offer gift cards or pre-purchased sessions that I can transfer to someone else?

No, we don’t offer gift cards or transferable prepurchases. All sessions are booked and paid for directly by the person attending.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Amex, EFTPOS, and cash payments are accepted

Health & safety

Do I need a doctor's referral?

A doctor's referral is not required for most of our services. However, if you have a specific medical condition or injury, we recommend consulting with your doctor first.

When should I avoid a massage?

Avoid booking if you have a fever, contagious skin condition, or have recently undergone surgery. If unsure, please check before booking.

What should I do after my massage?

Drink plenty of water to help flush out metabolic waste and toxins from your muscles. It's also a good idea to avoid strenuous physical activity for the rest of the day to allow your body to fully relax and heal.
